With the Marvel production “Captain America 4” acting legend Harrison Ford enters new cinematic territory. What made him do it.

Harrison Ford (80) will soon be making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as General Ross in “Captain America: New World Order”. In conversation with “The Hollywood Reporter” the actor explains how the collaboration came about. “I thought, ‘Everyone else seems to be having a great time,'” says the 80-year-old. He also likes “doing something different than what I’ve done before and making people happy with it”. So he decided to “try it out”.

Ford follows in the footsteps of the late William Hurt (1950-2022). This had embodied General Thaddeus Ross in five films from 2008. He made his debut in The Incredible Hulk and last starred as Ross in Black Widow in 2021.
