Blurred images of the reporter wearing a helmet and body armor can be seen running for his life with other men. The bang of a Russian shell can be heard, which hits in the immediate vicinity. Finally, the reporter in close-up, he sums up his fear in the sentence: “You think it’s over now.” This is Paul Ronzheimer, the award-winning war correspondent from the Picture, as host Louis Klamroth introduces him as a guest with a short film. The title of the program is: “Does Germany have to be able to go to war again?” One can at least reply: Ronzheimer can do war.
