After around 35 years as a couple, Harald Glööckler and Dieter Schroth have separated. There is currently speculation that the designer may be in love with a new man – a young politician.
Berlin – The fashion designer Harald Glööckler (58) and his partner Dieter Schroth (74) have separated after around 35 years together, as was announced at the beginning of the year. After the images that have now surfaced, speculation is circulating that the designer may have a new man by his side.

on the Photos published by bild.de, Glööckler can be seen with a younger man – he hugs him and gives him a little kiss. The pictures are said to have been taken in front of a Berlin restaurant. The man is the CDU young politician Marc-Eric Lehmann (26), with whom Glööckler showed up a few days ago at a birthday dinner in the capital.
Glööckler explains to bild.de: “I’m a great romantic and love to flirt.” Lehmann is “a very, very important person” in the designer’s life and they have “a very loving relationship.” In an interview with RTL, the fashion designer also confirms that the politician, who is also a real estate manager and broker, is a “very good friend and a very important person to me”.
According to Glööckler, they have known each other for seven years now, “but our friendship has deepened in recent months. I appreciate his diligence and his friendly, charming and lovable nature. ”But the two are apparently not a couple at the moment. “My relationship status is single,” explains Glööckler at least to the “Stuttgarter Nachrichten”.
Glööckler is single again: an application to cancel the civil partnership has already been made
Harald Glööckler and his husband Dieter Schroth were a couple for around 35 years and said yes in 2015. Last year, however, there were rumors of a possible separation for the first time. Glööckler’s lawyer then confirmed to bild.de in February 2023, “[…] that my client has applied through his family lawyer to the competent court for the dissolution of his civil partnership”. He declined to comment on the details of the matter.
