Since Harald Glööckler has to leave his health-ailing husband at home alone because of the jungle camp, the designer takes precautions.

From January 21, Harald Glööckler (56) will be sitting in the RTL jungle camp in South Africa – the fashion designer is part of the cast of the new season of “I’m a star – get me out of here!”. His husband Dieter Schroth (73) stays at home in Kirchheim. Glööckler therefore cannot go to South Africa with a clear head. His husband’s health has deteriorated in the last few weeks, as reported by the “Bild” newspaper.

Dieter Schroth has been suffering from diabetes, obesity and back pain for a long time. “I was very tense when I thought of leaving Mr. Schroth alone for four weeks. After all, I take care of everything at home, cooking, shopping, looking after the dog,” said Glööckler to “Bild”.

It was clear from the start that “Mr. Schroth” would not come to South Africa. Glööckler already revealed this in November in an interview with the news agency spot on news: “No, my husband doesn’t go on long trips and that’s why that’s not an issue. He will follow the whole thing from home.”

Harald Glööckler: List for the refrigerator

A cancellation by Glööckler was also out of the question after Schroth’s health deteriorated. So the designer takes care of things and hires helpers. “I’ve organized everything. There will be someone in his house around the clock. Someone who cooks, someone who drives him.”

Glööckler also wrote a list for his husband, according to “Bild”, so that he can find his beloved ice cream, among other things: “We have different refrigerators. And unfortunately Mr. Schroth likes to eat a lot of ice cream. When I’m gone, he has to know where he gets his.” Finds sweets. “
