Harald Glööckler: Glamor star puts the RTL2 team in front of the door Entertainment

Glamor pope Harald Glööckler (58) shows ALMOST everything …

For the new RTL2 documentary “Herr Glööckler sucht das Glück”, Germany’s flashiest designer had himself accompanied for weeks at the start of his new life. After 35 years together with ex-partner Dieter Schroth (74), the fashion designer is back in Berlin and is enjoying the Dolce Vita to the fullest.

The fashion designer also seems to have found a new form of happiness in love. As reported by BILD, the cult designer (“Pompöös”) is currently playing along Young politician Marc-Eric Lehmann (26), CDU local chairman in Berlin-Frohnau – heartfelt kisses on the street included. Both have known each other for years. Only after Glööckler’s separation did the men get closer.

But during the shooting of the RTL2 documentary, that was probably still a dream of the future. In the first part, the fashion designer caught up with the past. The separation from his ex-partner still bothered him. Nevertheless, the final stroke must have felt like a liberating blow.

Glööckler on the reasons: “In the beginning it was great love, then attachment. Love is often confused with that.” And further: “After that, a third wave came out of habit. You live together out of habit. For the last 15 years we have been a flat share.”

Left in the spring of last year Harald Glööckler shared the villa in the Palatinate and moved to Berlin-Mitte into a noble 350 square meter penthouse apartment. For him a symbol of new beginnings. But he also knew that Dieter Schroth sees things very differently and was still hoping for a love comeback. Eight years ago, both had their partnership registered at the registry office.

Glööckler also wanted to officially end this part of the past, so he consulted a divorce lawyer. Glööckler, who obviously had a heavy stomach about his project: “Today is the day on which I will apply for the termination of my partnership.” The designer reveals: “It put a lot of strain on me physically. I have back pain that I haven’t had for a long time and I’m slightly nauseous.”

Harald Glööckler loses his nerve

The problem: Dieter Schroth knew nothing about the plans at the time. It was only after the appointment that Glööckler wanted to pour him pure wine on the phone. When the time came, the designer lost his nerve for a moment. Actually, the camera team should wait in the hallway while Glööckler retired to his rooms for the phone call. But then everything happened very quickly.

A short time later, the designer returns, waving his arms wildly and whispering excitedly to the camera crew: “Now it’s getting serious! Get out!” The sacking couldn’t come fast enough for him. Glööckler even hastily put the shoes of the RTL2 employees in front of the door himself. Only after the phone call were they allowed to re-enter the penthouse apartment. About the conversation with his ex-partner, Glööckler could only be elicited: “He wasn’t that enthusiastic. Maybe he imagined it a little differently. He thought more of me saying we’re living together again.”

The scenes were shot months ago. Glööckler and Schroth have been officially separated since February of this year. The fashion designer relieved: “I have allowed myself to be restricted for the last 15 years. Now I’m free!” He wants to catch up a lot: travel, flirt, go partying. And the TV viewers are up close in five more episodes.

His fresh romance was already indicated at the beginning. The preview of episode two shows Glööckler and young politician Marc-Eric Lehmann on the date. The designer raves about his new flame: “Marc means a lot to me because I have the feeling that we get along well and the time with him is always very nice and we do each other good.”

According to BILD information, the couple already have pet names for each other. Glööckler calls Lehmann “Bärli”, the politicians the fashion designer “Spatzl”. Both have already been to Las Vegas and are already planning their next vacation.
