In the jungle camp, Harald Glööckler spoke about his husband’s poor physical condition. Since then there have been rumors that the couple has split up. The two have now taken a clear position on this.

In this year’s edition of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” Harald Glööckler poured out his heart. During a night shift around the campfire, the fashion designer broke into the story and revealed how bad his husband’s health was.

Many were surprised that he spoke so openly, after all, his partner probably also watched the show. Glööckler has since moved out of their shared home near Ludwigshafen and to Berlin. A step that has nothing to do with a separation, as the two emphasized, but with his job.

Harald Glööckler and Dieter Schroth explain their relationship status

“My husband and I by no means live separately, but I go about our business in the capital and my husband, at 73, has the right to spend his old age in peace in our country home without having to justify it,” said Glööckler now the “Bild” newspaper. And he also made it clear that he hadn’t complained about his marriage itself.

Jungle camp statements a “push”

“I didn’t say how unhappy I was in my marriage. That’s your interpretation. Rather, I was distressed by my husband’s recent physical decline. That’s not something to take lightly. My husband’s health changed in very strongly in a questionable direction in a short period of time,” said Glööckler, who appeared partially pissed off in the “Bild” interview. “Sometimes you need such an impetus to wake yourself up. The fact is that I’m sick and need support. I can’t even travel anymore. Harald, on the other hand, is in his prime,” said Schroth.

His answers to the newspaper’s questions also sound snippy. When asked by the “Bild” newspaper whether the two still say “I love you” to each other, he countered: “Give us a reasonable reason why we shouldn’t do it.”
