Hans-Joachim Heist has been playing the role of Gernot Hassknecht in the “heute show” for years. He is currently on the road with a stage show. A conversation about the question of whether humor ages and why he is glad that the Merkel era is now over.

Hans-Joachim Heist is best known to many people for his role as Gernot Hassknecht from the “heute show”. However, the 73-year-old has made a name for himself in numerous roles in his long career as an actor and stage artist. On Sunday, February 13, he will be making a guest appearance at the Taufkirchen Cultural Center with his Heinz Erhardt program.
