Shocking moment in the snow chaos: Pop star Heino had an accident on the motorway after his concert on Saturday.

The pop star continues his church tour. After an emotional performance on Saturday evening (December 2nd), his car suddenly skidded in the snowstorm.

Heino gave a concert in Hausham, Bavaria, on Saturday evening – the second after the death of his beloved Hannelore, who died in Kitzbühel on November 8th at the age of 82. After the highly emotional performance, his manager Helmut Werner (39) drove him and his singing partner Anita Hegerland back to Austria. Shortly near Flintsbach – before the Austrian border – then disaster struck.

In the chaos of snow, the Bentley’s right front tire burst. Suddenly there was a bang and the car shook violently. But Heino was lucky in misfortune. Werner brought the car to a safe stop and none of the occupants were injured. Nevertheless, it was a shock, as Heino reveals to BILD: “We were suddenly standing there at night in the freezing cold in the middle of nowhere. Luckily we were right at an exit and we saw a brightly lit hall nearby, where we managed to get to.”
And as luck would have it, this illuminated hall was actually the emergency services headquarters. “We got a coffee there and were able to warm up. The ADAC then towed us away and brought us home safely,” said the pop star, infinitely grateful.
Farewell gesture of love
On November 15, 2023, Hannelore was buried in a small circle. Heino continued a tradition at the mourning ceremony. The singer placed 44 roses on his late wife’s grave – this gesture has a special background.

So Heino, his manager and Anita Hegerland escaped with a shock. “Hannelore was our guardian angel that night,” the pop star is certain. “I firmly believe that she is watching over me in heaven. For me it can’t have been a coincidence that nothing worse happened here in these weather conditions. Also that the rescue center was so close. I don’t know what else we would have done in this freezing cold.”
