“Six moles “Hey””. After a break of almost three years, the musicians of Fettes Brot were longing to meet their fans. The trio inspires its audience on the banks of the Elbe.

Comeback after almost three years of stage break: The band Fettes Brot played a surprise free concert on the Elbe in Hamburg – and two more should follow in the afternoon.

The trio first rapped in front of the beach in Hamburg-Övelgönne, on the roof of a harbor barge and supported by a DJ. Although the ship was almost 100 meters away on the water and the sounds did not reach the shore with full force, the fans reacted with enthusiasm. More than 500 people danced and applauded on the beach, as a dpa photographer observed. The band played their hits “Emanuela” and “Nordisch by Nature”.

More free concerts

The trio wanted to give two more free concerts this Friday: at the Landungsbrücken and in front of the Magellan Terraces in Hafencity. Fettes Brot wrote on Facebook: “After almost 3 years it’s so itchy that we just want to celebrate with you again spontaneously and at short notice – in Hamburg!”

The three band members Doctor Renz (Martin Vandreier), King Boris (Boris Lauterbach) and Schiffmeister (Björn Warns) originally come from Halstenbek, Schenefeld and Pinneberg just outside the Hanseatic city.
