In Hamburg, a police operation is underway at a school in the Blankenese district. Two young people are said to have threatened a teacher with a weapon and then fled.

Alarm at a district school in Hamburg-Blankenese: Two young people or children are said to have been at school with a gun on Wednesday afternoon and may have threatened a teacher, as the local police announced on Wednesday. The police spoke of a threat situation, not an act of violence. Emergency services brought children from the school to safety and searched the area for the young people.

The police were further reported that the two people then left the classroom and fled somewhere unrecognized, said a police spokesman. This is now being checked. They are said to be two male, rather young people. The operation has been running since 11 a.m. On X, the Hamburg police write that the school will be searched and students will be taken out of school. The contact point for parents is the Reich President Ebert Barracks, where the evacuees are taken by bus.
