With the opening of vaccination to all over 18s, the campaign is accelerating in Haute-Garonne. Open 7 days a week since April 7, hall 8 of the former Toulouse Exhibition Center carries out a large majority of the Ville Rose’s vaccinations every day. On Saturday, the capacity of this XXL center will double thanks to the opening of the neighboring hall 7, which will increase the sapacity to 5,000 injections.

“Everything is set,” confirms Professor Vincent Bounes, the boss of Samu 31 who coordinates the teams present on site. An opening in advance, since the departmental plan provided for the first doses to be administered there from June 7.

On that day, other centers of intermediate size will be deployed in the Haute-Garonne department, such as that of Colomiers installed in Salle Gascogne, or even in Labège. In Toulouse, the Pierre-Baudis congress center can accommodate up to 750 people. What will make it easier to find niches in the coming weeks
