Hair: summer program in the small theater – district of Munich

It is a duel that has been repeated for many years and always picks up new speed, carried out in artistic positions, on a wide variety of instruments and with hair-raising twists and turns. The two concert acrobats “Gogol & Mäx” have been an extraordinary duo on stage for 30 years. On Saturday, August 13, the two music cabaret artists from Freiburg are showing the latest edition of their grotesque musical ongoing dispute (“Teatro Musicomico”) in the small theater in Haar: here the slick pianist Gogol, wearing tails, there the clownish Mäx with his overly long shoes, who tries to dupe him with cunning and deceit (beginning 7 p.m.).

Three days later on Tuesday, August 16th, the ensemble “Berlin 21 – Streetworkers” will come to Haar. The quartet, which consists of Torsten Zwingenberger (drums), Lionel Haas (piano), Martin Lillich (bass) and Alexey Wagner (guitar) and is named after the former postal code 1000 Berlin 21 (Moabit and Tiergarten), is also active in the east of Munich back to the singer Tamir Cohen: Above all, soulful, funky songs and arrangements are on offer, along with original compositions and “many favorite songs of the urban baby boomer generation”, as promised. If the weather is right, the soul tones can of course be heard in the open air.

“On our now very professional outdoor stage, we now offer a varied program all summer long. The good thing this year is that we can act regardless of the weather,” explains theater manager Matthias Riedel-Rüppel. “In bad weather, our theater is always ready to play.” The same applies to the events in the “After-work hours at the theatre” series, which always take place on Wednesdays (and where there is also a culinary offer): In August, the Main-Isar Blooze Boyz (this Wednesday 13th), the Banda Ballorda Trio (17th), the rock band Halifax & Friends (24.) and the Latin Funk Factory (31.) in hair. Start is at 7 p.m. each day.

Gerhard Polt and Senta Berger are coming to the “Seelen-Art” events in the fall

Tickets for the events in the “Seelen-Art” series have also been on sale since August, the proceeds of which are used to make projects for mentally ill people possible. In the coming autumn season, top-class musical and cabaret artists will again be guests in Haar. “Isarindianer” Willy Michl is coming on September 8th, the Unterbiberger Hofmusik on November 3rd and Gerhard Polt on December 4th (matinee, beginning at 11 am). There will also be a reading with actress Senta Berger on December 2nd, the proceeds of which will also be used for soul art projects.

Tickets for the events are available online www.kleinestheaterhaar.reservix.de or via the card phone of the small theater in Haar on 089/890 56 98 11.
