On the initiative of students from the Fachoberschule Haar, 48,000 euros were raised in several fundraising campaigns for the Bavarian Red Cross’s Ukraine aid. Under the motto “Peace, Freedom, Democracy”, the technical college held a fundraiser from March 14th to 18th to support people in and from Ukraine. Thanks to the great commitment of the young people, according to a message from the district office, various fundraising campaigns were set up within a few days during the campaign week. There was a cake donation, a charity run with a raffle and many other activities. The students were supported by numerous teachers, parents and neighboring companies. Finally, in the presence of headmistress Nicola Tauscher-Meriç, a check was handed over to the chairman of the BRK district association in Munich, Karl-Heinz Demenat, and to the on-call manager of BRK Haar.
