This Sunday, October 30th, the Small Theater Haar is the scene of a panel discussion, which deals with the murders of psychiatric patients and mentally handicapped people, known under the propaganda term “euthanasia”, as a topic in literature, film and theater. The debate will be based on the example of the documentary novel “Nebel im August”, which was published in 2008, was later filmed for the cinema and was also staged in a theater version in 2018. The protagonists of the moderated discussion are the writer Robert Domes, film producer Ulrich Limmer and the theater director Kathrin Mädler. The discussion is organized by the Center for Remembrance Culture at the University of Regensburg. The matinee in the theater café starts at 11 a.m., admission is free.
