Cheating drama at GZSZ: Paul is back from Canada – and has something to confess

For months, Paul Wiedmann alias Niklas Osterloh had disappeared from the scene. Now the 32-year-old is back on “Good Times, Bad Times” – with a pretty big bomb in his luggage.
Niklas Osterloh has played the role of Paul Wiedmann at GZSZ for five years. He spent the last few weeks working in a beautiful nature reserve in Canada somewhere in the middle of nowhere after he received a lucrative offer from his former master to build a tree house hotel there. After three months in the wilderness, he is now coming back from the airport to the neighborhood by taxi and immediately bursts a bomb: Paul cheated on his wife Emily (played by Anne Menden) while he was away.
A fact that the actor first had to digest: “When I read the scripts, I had to read the script a second time to make sure that it wasn’t a mistake,” says Osterloh in an interview with RTL. “But of course this story offers a lot of potential for tension and wild arguments that are really fun as an actor, because it’s about something.”

When asked how Emily found out about Paul’s affair, he replied: “Paul is just honest skin and couldn’t help but tell Emily the truth. But maybe he just said it to feel better and not with Having to live the lie. In any case, he hurt Emily very much. ” However, the actor does not reveal exactly how things are going on with Emily and Paul. Only this much: “It could happen that Paul loses everything that is important to him. He will not give up fighting for the person he loves above all else.”
In his private life, however, things are going really well for the 32-year-old. On August 30, he became a father for the second time, which is why he took a longer break from the series: “I am overjoyed, grateful and very proud of my wife and my two daughters.”
