There were a few interesting chapters in the biography of the guru Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda even before he got involved with the Hessischer Rundfunk. The man, whose real name is Mahadeosingh Komalram, was born in Mauritius in 1978 and is now the spiritual leader of the international Bhakti Marga faith community. He teaches a mixture of Christian and Hindu philosophies and is also an ordained Russian Orthodox priest. At the core of Vishwananda’s teaching is unconditional love, “Just Love”. The center of Bhakti Marga, an ashram, is located in southern Hesse. In Springen in the Rheingau-Taunus district. A second center was recently established in Kirchheim in Hesse, where the guru bought a conference hotel and turned it into a temple.
