“Guardian” separates from artist Steve Bell – Media

The British one Guardian has parted ways with Steve Bell, one of its most prominent cartoonists, effective immediately. Bell, who worked for the newspaper for more than four decades, submitted a drawing of Benjamin Netanyahu that was deemed anti-Semitic by the editorial team. It shows the Israeli prime minister, his boxing-gloved hands preparing to use a scalpel to cut out a piece of flesh in the shape of the Gaza Strip from his own stomach.
