Grünwald – summer reading club on a record hunt – district of Munich

One summer will not be enough for the current reading competition of the Grünwald community library entitled “Summer Reading Club”. The organizers are already admitting that. Because the goal this time is to reach the height of the Grünwalder Flößersteig with the help of read books, i.e. to create a total of 74 book meters. Since the end of July, children and young people have competed with the adults. The young people are currently in the lead with six meters on the spines of the books, the adults have only managed 2.7 meters. The status will be determined again soon when everyone has returned from vacation and brought the works they read there with them. The last submission date is Monday, September 19, 6 p.m. So other bookworms can still get in. The big party at the end of the campaign will then take place on Friday, September 23, from 3.30 p.m. in the community library.
