Grünwald is the most livable small town in Germany – district of Munich

Grünwald is the most livable small town in Germany, followed by Unterföhring and Garching. That’s the result of a comprehensive data analysis by the journal, published on June 30th communal. To do this, the editors compared the 67 statistical data, which apparently stand for quality of life, in all municipalities in Germany, regardless of city status, with population figures between 10,000 and 20,000. This data includes the development of the number of inhabitants, the disposable income per inhabitant and the number of single-family houses and semi-detached houses. There are also statistical values about the number of insolvencies, tax revenue and the unemployment rate. All of these values flowed into a point system, which was used to determine the front runners and the rest of the list. The district of Munich is very well represented in it. Gräfelfing and Ismaning are in fifth and sixth place, Planegg, Oberhaching and Neubiberg in eighth, ninth and tenth place. Kirchheim follows in twelfth place, Oberschleißheim in 14th place, Taufkirchen in 16th place, and Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn in 19th place. According to the study, only eight of the 30 most liveable small towns are not in Bavaria.
