Grünwald – Boateng sells his villa – district of Munich

Silence is golden in Grünwald when it comes to prominent residents or ex-residents. Presumably precisely because of this unwritten law, many people who only like to attract attention on the television screen choose the place south of Munich as their place of residence. The brokerage agency Engel and Völkers commissioned to sell the villa by soccer player Jérôme Boateng is therefore not at all willing to provide information. It would be best for him if one were completely silent about the matter.

On request, an employee said: “I would therefore politely ask you to refrain from writing a report, using our photos and creating and publishing your own photos of this villa.” But word has already got around: Jérôme Boateng, central defender at FC Bayern Munich for ten years, has been playing for Olympique Lyon in France since the 2021/2022 season and apparently has no plans to return. Because now he is selling his villa in Grünwalder Habermannstrasse, where he has lived since 2016, for 11.5 million euros. In any case, the real estate agency offers the “visionary Bauhaus villa” at this price.

Around 506 square meters of living space, with 1808 square meters of a very spacious, sunny and not overlooked property, a cinema, whirlpool, a “master area” with bedroom and privacy, a children’s area, a wellness area with all chicanes, a pool with lounge area – all that offers the villa, according to Engel and Völkers. It was built in 2008, but certainly modernized by Boateng, because everything in the photos sparkles and flashes like new, for example the white kitchen with floor-to-ceiling windows that are found throughout the house.

A special treat: one of the three bathrooms should be purple. A total of ten rooms are hidden in the angular building, six bedrooms offer space for numerous overnight guests, as do three garages. You can frolic in the pool in the garden without being watched by the neighbors – everything is hidden behind walls and hedges, in typical Grünwald villa style.
