An 84-year-old motorist got into the opposite lane for unknown reasons on Friday afternoon around 4.45 p.m. on Oberhachinger Strasse in Grünwald and collided with a 33-year-old’s van. The elderly man’s vehicle hit the driver’s side of the other car. As a result, the van was thrown into the adjacent green area. Both drivers were slightly injured and were taken to hospitals for outpatient treatment. Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive and had to be towed.
The total damage is estimated at more than 20,000 euros.
