Deutsche Telekom remains on the road to success: “We’re raising the bar a bit higher for 2022,” said company boss Tim Höttges on Thursday at the balance sheet press conference. Last year, the Bonn group was able to convert 108.8 billion euros – an increase of 7.7 percent. The US subsidiary T-Mobile US has long since become the Bonn-based company’s most important growth area. After its merger with its competitor Sprint, the US mobile operator contributed a good 62 percent to group sales. However, Telekom’s debt level, which grew by almost twelve billion euros to a total of 132.1 billion euros in the past year, is causing concern.
