Grégoire de Fournas excluded 15 days by the National Assembly

The office of the National Assembly, its highest authority, proposed Friday the exclusion for 15 days of the deputy RN Grégoire de Fournas, author Thursday of remarks in the hemicycle deemed racist, we learned from parliamentary sources. The Assembly validated this proposal by a seated-standing vote in stride.

The proposed “censorship with temporary exclusion”, the most severe disciplinary penalty for deputies, entails a ban on appearing at the Palais Bourbon for fifteen sitting days, and the deprivation of half of the parliamentary allowance for two months.
