The Green Party leaders Ricarda Lang and Omid Nouripour were just able to get rid of their New Year’s resolutions without a hitch on Tuesday morning. “We need encouragement,” says Nouripour. Co-leader Lang warns that social justice must be more mainstream in society this year. But then the problem starts. A still image on the screen makes it clear that the party has lost connection to the first guest who joined in at the board meeting. Andrea Nahles, the head of the Federal Employment Agency, was supposed to appear there. “Andrea, can you hear us?” asks the party leader.
