Greens and coal exit: The next traffic light dispute is programmed – politics

Ricarda Lang, party leader of the Greens, advertises at the beginning of her summer tour in Lusatia for an early exit from coal in the east. FDP and SPD see the plan critically – the coalition is facing the next collision.

As a leading politician in the traffic light coalition, one can only be amazed at such figures these days: “Accident-free for 691 days” calculates an occupational safety display in the training center of the “Schwarze Pumpe” coal-fired power plant. Green leader Ricarda Lang is here on Monday with a good 300 trainees. The most recent traffic light accident in the dispute over basic child security is only a few days old. But Lang’s visit to Brandenburg makes it clear that the next coalition crash is not far away.
