The formation of a government depends on the Greens and the FDP: they will meet again on Friday. Both parties announced talks with the Union and the SPD for the weekend. Green leader Baerbock called for a quick decision.
The Greens want to talk to the SPD on Sunday about possible participation in a new federal government. Party leader Annalena Baerbock announced this after the FDP announced similar talks. The members of the Presidium should take part in the meeting from the FDP side. Wissing did not want to comment specifically on possible topics.

Union: No single force has a sole government mandate
