“Transatlantic”, a joyful historical fresco
Tour in Marseilles, Transatlanticavailable April 7 on Netflix, the new series from the creator ofUnorthodoxAnna Winger, recounts an unknown part of the Second World War, that of a network of resistance fighters who orchestrated the flight of thousands of Jews to the United States in 1940. Transatlantic is based on the true story of Varian Fry, Mary Jayne Gold and the Emergency Relief Committee, who helped some 2,000 refugees flee occupied France, including many artists and writers wanted by the Nazis. “Good people”, a crazy Belgian thriller
The new crazy fiction from the creators of Trier ! good people, available on April 5 on Arte.tv and broadcast on Thursday April 13 and 20 at 8:55 p.m. on Arte, tells the crazy story of a couple (Lucas Meister and Bérangère McNeese) who set up a life insurance scam.
