Buckingham Palace released a statement on Monday evening, four paragraphs long: King Charles III. has cancer. The diagnosis was made when the 75-year-old King was recently treated in hospital for an enlarged prostate. Charles, who returned to London from the Royal Family’s estate in Sandringham on Monday, was “grateful to his medical team for their quick action” and was positive about the treatment. He wants to return to the public “as quickly as possible.”
