Good accounts make good friends. Brazilian left-back Renan Lodi leaves Olympique de Marseille and joins Saudi club Al-Hilal until 2027, the two teams announced on Wednesday. The Auriverde international (19 caps), aged 25, arrived at OM last summer from Nottingham Forest, where he was on loan from Atlético de Madrid.

OM made a nice capital gain with Lodi, purchased for 13 million euros, with 30% on resale due to Atlético. According to several media, he was transferred for three and a half years for a sum of around 23 million euros.
