Gray Camouflage Edition: New PS5 accessories coming October

Headset, controller, interchangeable side parts: Sony Interactive wants to score with PS5 accessories in a camouflage look (“Gray Camouflage Collection”) in the Christmas business.

Anyone who is regularly looking for gamepads between the cracks and cushions in the sofa will not be very happy with this special finish: With the “Gray Camouflage Collection”, Sony Interactive is expanding its portfolio of PlayStation 5 accessories with three products that are analogous to the existing models in pink, purple, red or blue are colour-coordinated.

Special feature of the military/camouflage design: The typical PlayStation symbols are subtly processed in the patterns.

Pre-orders are possible from September 15:

• Of the DualSense Controller is available worldwide from October 14th exclusively in pre-sale at PlaySation Direct – the gamepad will only be available from mail order companies and stationary retailers on October 28th.
• the PS5 interchangeable side parts (‘Faceplates’) in matching versions for the Disc Edition and the Digital Edition will also be distributed exclusively via PlayStation Direct from October 14th. This shows that Sony Interactive is pushing ahead with its own online shop.
• That Pulse 3D wireless headset in a camouflage look will not follow until December, i.e. shortly before Christmas.

The manufacturer has not yet provided any information on the prices. However, there is much to suggest that the RRPs are based on the previous tariff levels, i.e. €74.99 for the controller, €99.99 for the headset and €54.99 for the console cover.
