Grasbrunn – Municipality changes publisher for Official Gazette – District of Munich

the Grasbrunner news, the official and local news sheet of the municipality of Grasbrunn, will come from a different publisher in the future. As of the April issue, Ikos-Verlag from Hallbergmoos will be responsible for the production and distribution of the sheet, according to the municipality. The Grasbrunn-based publishing house Bistrickmedia by Markus Bistrick, who has published the Grasbrunner news on behalf of the community has, according to the town hall, terminated the contract with the community for economic reasons. Printing and paper prices have risen drastically, and with them the production costs. At the same time, the number of pages was increased.

The municipal council then decided to reassign the contract to the Hallbergmoos-based publishing house Ikos. This offered the most cost-effective co-payment amount for the community, according to the town hall. At the same time, the number of issues per year will be reduced. “So that we can continue to produce the newspaper and it remains affordable for the municipality, we have decided to only produce ten issues,” explains Mayor Klaus Korneder (SPD). The issues for December and January will be combined, the summer issue in August will be omitted entirely.
