Grasbrunn: Jazz concert in St. Aegidius – district of Munich

Two prominent protagonists of the German jazz and world music scene are giving a concert this Sunday in the St. Aegidius Church in Keferloh. Mulo Francel and Chris Gall present a sound journey made up of improvisations, subtle grooves and tango. The musicians, who both come from the region – the saxophonist and multiple Echo award winner Mulo Francel lives in Baierbrunn – were awarded the German Jazz Award in platinum for their album “Tango”. They also know each other from their collaboration in the world music formation Quadro Nuevo.

Her concert program “Mythos” is inspired by encounters with people, their cultures and myths. “Two ballad players who carry their audience through the night with velvety tones,” says the announcement.

The event on Sunday, October 23, starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the following advance booking offices: in Neukeferloh at Nesli’s Backcafé, in Grasbrunn at the farm shop, in Haar at Schreibwaren Willerer and in Vaterstetten at “Der Buchladen” or can be reserved at [email protected]. There is also an evening box office. The proceeds benefit the preservation of the Church of St. Aegidius.
