Grasbrunn: Helmut Buchwitz presents exhibition “Views” – District of Munich

Discovering the special in the seemingly everyday fascinates the artist Helmut Buchwitz from Haar. This is expressed both in his painting and in his photographic work. His goal: to awaken the viewer’s imagination and open up new perspectives. “Perspectives” – this is also the name of the exhibition with works by Buchwitz, which can be seen from this Monday, January 9th, in the Neukeferloh town hall. Buchwitz, who is a member of the Kunstverein Ottobrunn, deals in his own way with the variety of shapes and colors that the world offers. He expresses this in formally reduced excerpts and perspectives. His intensely colored works in pastel, oil and acrylic border on abstraction. Under the motto “painting meets photography”, new insights and pictorial statements are created in photographic works on canvas through transparent overpainting in pastel. The exhibition lasts until March 22nd. It can be visited Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
