The cold is taking its toll: on Sunday night a smoke alarm went off in a semi-detached house on Schwabener Weg in Grasbrunn. The residents checked that everything was in order and found a fire in the living room. The fire brigade put out the flames, the residents were unharmed. According to previous investigations, the police assume that a technical defect in an electric blanket was the cause of the fire. The property damage amounts to several tens of thousands of euros. The Munich criminal police conducts the fire investigations.
