“Aging and happiness are not mutually exclusive!” Everyone who is approaching retirement age or who has already reached it will be happy to hear this sentence. It comes from Margot Käßmann, the former chairwoman of the council of the Evangelical Church in Germany, who will be reading from her book “Beautiful Prospects” in Grasbrunn on Tuesday, August 30. It starts at 18 o’clock. Käßmann tells of good habits that endure and change, of personal happiness and failure.
