Pop superstar Taylor Swift has won the Grammy for the best album of the year and made history: After the awards for “Fearless”, “1989” and “Folklore”, the 34-year-old won for the fourth time with “Midnights”. She passed Paul Simon, Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder, who each received three awards in the category.
The musician, who attracts millions of fans with her “Eras Tour” and earns record amounts, had recently announced her new album “The Torted Poets Department” for April 19th.
The Grammys are being presented for the 66th time this year. Around 13,000 members of the Recording Academy decided on the winners of the Golden Gramophones, which are among the most coveted music prizes in the world and are awarded in 94 categories.
