Gräfelfing can look forward to a financial injection: the municipality will receive around 2.7 million euros from the KfW Reconstruction Loan Corporation for the construction of the gym and swimming pool on the school campus in Lochham. “This is due to our energy concept,” said Mayor Peter Köstler (CSU) in the building committee. The construction, including the façades, is largely made of wood, the roof is covered with greenery for optimal thermal protection, photovoltaics are provided and the drinking and swimming pool water is used as toilet water after use. The triple gym, including a bathroom suitable for competitions, costs a total of 29 million.
