After a woman’s body was found in Upper Franconia, a close relative of the woman was arrested. An investigating judge had issued an arrest warrant against the 59-year-old, the police and public prosecutor’s office in Bamberg announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The 56-year-old woman was found dead on Monday night in a residential building in Gößweinstein (Forchheim district). The man who has now been arrested is suspected of having deliberately killed her. The investigators initially gave no information about the background to the crime.
