Tomáš Čupr is a star in the Czech entrepreneurial world. With Rohlík.cz, the 39-year-old not only founded the first Czech unicorn, a start-up worth over a billion euros, but also one of the few online supermarkets in Europe that are profitable. In Germany he is in business under the name Knuspr, first in Munich and now also in the Rhine-Main area. Hamburg, Cologne and the Ruhr area are to follow this year. Italy, Spain and Romania are also on the expansion plan. The business model differs from better-known competitors such as the delivery service Gorillas.
