Google and Home Office: Group wants to pay less when you move away – economy


More and more people only want to work from home, US corporations like Google agree. But there is a catch: Those who leave the expensive city should also earn less. A role model for Germany?

How does that sound A little house in the country, a view of the garden, work on the terrace. No more office, no more traffic jams, away from city noise and horrific rents. It’s a promise that sounds so attractive to tens of thousands of US workers that they have asked their bosses to leave the home office permanently. Google alone received 4,500 applications and 3,825 have already been approved.
