In Manching, Upper Bavaria, burglars stole a gold treasure worth several million euros from the Celtic period. As a spokesman for the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office (LKA) reported on Tuesday, the perpetrators entered the Celtic Roman Museum last night and stole the treasure discovered in 1999.
The Bavarian LKA, the public prosecutor’s office in Ingolstadt and the Archaeological State Collection in Munich are giving a press conference today at 2:00 p.m. on the theft of the gold treasure in Manching.
