God of War Ragnarök gets its own DualSense controller, new gameplay

Sony has at today’s State of Play still provided a little surprise during the event, a DualSense controller in the design of God of War Ragnarok imagined. On top of that there are new gameplay scenes.

About this one writes that the DualSense wireless controller will be available in a limited edition. The design is inspired by the Nordic world of Midgard and features a two-tone look of cool blue on frosty white. In detail, the controller is decorated with a bear and wolf insignia, representing Kratos and Atreus.

The DualSense controller in the God of War Ragnarok Edition will be available when the game releases on November 9th. Sony has not commented on the price, but it should be within the usual range, i.e. around EUR 70 to 80.

Incidentally, the game is not included here and must be purchased separately, as Sony points out.

There were also new gameplay scenes from the action RPG to admire. Once again, the two warriors embark on an epic and undeviating journey as Kratos and Atreus struggle to hold on and let go.

As a player, you witness the changing dynamics of their relationship as they prepare for war; Atreus hungers for knowledge to understand the prophecy of “Loki” while Kratos struggles to break free from the past and be the father his son needs. Meanwhile, the eyes of Asgard watch her every move.

As a player you travel through dangerous and breathtaking landscapes and must face a variety of enemy creatures, monsters and Norse gods, while Kratos and Atreus search for answers and allies,
