On June 15, Heidi Klum will choose the 18th winner of “Germany’s Next Top Model”. Here you will find all information about the grand finale 2023 including finalists, guest list and program.
After 17 weeks full of challenges, photo shoots and catwalks, five participants can fight for victory in the big “Germany’s Next Top Model” finale of the 18th season this year.
Finalists more diverse than ever
In addition to high-flyer Selma, student Olivia and retail saleswoman Somajia, curvy model Vivien and best-ager Nicole were able to assert themselves against 30 other competitors and convince juror Heidi Klum of her model potential and her personality. The finalists this year are more diverse than ever. Klum will then decide who will succeed last year’s winner Lou-Anne on Thursday evening in the final, which will take place in the MMC studios in the Ossendorf district of Cologne.

“Germany’s Next Top Model”: That’s what the winners of previous seasons do
Unlike many years before, the final will only take place in a small circle. There are no tickets for sale, only families and friends of the GNTM candidates and selected guests are invited to the event. Günther Klum recently criticized this in a video on his website. The fact that the finale is now so “impersonal” is not what “Germany’s next top model” actually means.

The broadcaster obviously wants to compensate for this with the guest list, which is just as long as it is colourful. The finale should start with the grand show “Falling – In Love” by the Berlin artist ensemble of the Friedrichstadt-Palast. According to ProSieben, it should be a “colorful, bright and spectacular opening”, for which the French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier curated the costumes.
On Instagram, the broadcaster also announced other guests who will be in Cologne on Thursday evening. In addition to Gaultier, designer Christian Cowan, Heidi Klum’s daughter Leni, choreographer Majnoon and crowd favorite Thomas Hayo are on the guest list. The most prominent guest will certainly be Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence. On June 22, the comedy “No Hard Feelings” with her in the leading role will be in cinemas in Germany.
ESC winner Loreen, “Unholy” singer Kim Petras and the band Scorpions will also appear as acts. Other special guests have also been announced, but should remain a surprise.
“Germany’s Next Top Model” final: Cassy takes over backstage moderation
Candidate Cassy will be moderating backstage. The 23-year-old dancer from Hamburg flew out in episode 11 of the current season together with best-ager model Marielena.
The finale of the 18th season “Germany’s Next Top Model” will be broadcast on June 15 at 8:15 p.m. on “ProSieben” and on “Joyn” in the live stream.
