Glonn – art courses for young and old – Ebersberg

“Without art and culture, it has been quiet long enough,” says Angelika Oedingen. That is why the art teacher and painter from Glonn is offering two new art courses after the autumn break, one for adults and one for children aged ten and over. Information and registration in each case by email to [email protected].

The course for adults starts on Monday, November 8th, and takes place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the monastery school in Glonn. Under the motto “Blue Monday”, the participants should meet in a relaxed atmosphere, without any pressure to succeed, and be creative together. “Everyone follows their intuition freely and without prejudice and is supported professionally by me”, says Oedingen. Be it concrete or abstract: everyone should find their own pictorial form of expression. On November 8th, interested parties can come and try it out free of charge, after which the fee per appointment is 15 euros plus material.

The course for children and young people from ten years of age is under the motto “What you like and what you want to design”. It also starts on Monday, November 8th, and takes place from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. in the monastery school. Experimenting with material, presenting concrete ideas and giving space to your own creativity are the cornerstones of this free art workshop. Even for the young participants there is no fee on the first day, after that the fee is 15 euros plus material.

The art teacher Angelika Oedingen studied at the Folkwang University of the Arts and only moved from Cologne to Bavaria a few years ago. Until her retirement, she headed the Montessori school in Niederseeon. Oedingen’s oil paintings are often snapshots. One of her stylistic devices, similar to Gerhard Richter, is a blurring of all contours.
