Penny delights millions of viewers on TikTok.
In her videos, she dances in such a good mood that you hardly notice that she has just had a bone marrow transplant.
Mother Jodie reports that it all started three years ago.
Penny was not well and had a lot of bruises. When they go to the doctor, they find out about Penny’s low platelet count.
It turns out the six-year-old has a rare inherited condition called CAMT.
Among other things, the disease prevents Penny’s blood from clotting, so that the little girl has more bruises all over her body.
Due to her illness, Penny needs a bone marrow transplant. She also has to start chemotherapy and stay in the hospital for six weeks.
To take her mind off her situation, the girl, together with the nurses, begins to learn and record dances from TikTok.

Penny is now back home, but she still has to rest because her immune system is weak. The girl is not allowed to meet anyone. As a result, she misses the Tiktok dances with the nurses even more, according to the mother.
