Three hours of concentrated emotions awaited the viewers in Berlin and on the TV sets when the “Giovanni Zarrella Show” started on ZDF last Saturday evening, punctually at prime time. The popular moderator, singer and entertainer welcomed well-known stars such as Vanessa Mai, Wincent Weiss, Marie Reim and “Die Prinzen” to the Adlerhof. He celebrated his comeback with Adel Tawil and introduced the German audience to Italy’s superstar and ESC candidate Marco Mengoni. There were a few familiar faces in the audience, including Enie van de Meiklokjes, Tina Kaiser and of course Giovanni’s wife Jana Ina.
But Giovanni Zarrella wouldn’t be Giovanni Zarrella if he didn’t enrich his show with several singing and dancing interludes. Even his opening performance with several dancers caused a storm of enthusiasm in the audience. During the evening he presented a particularly daring performance with hit star Vanessa Mai: “Dirty Dancing” on the Berlin stage!

And then it got exciting again for the people in the hall, because the 45-year-old was looking for a happy couple for a special surprise. When it comes out who gave the couple this special gift, tears flow. And there’s also a serenade from host Giovanni.
At the end of July Giovanni Zarrella will be back with his next show.
