How can you tell how powerful people tick? The post-fascist Giorgia Meloni has been Italy’s prime minister for a month now, and of course she too should be granted the obligatory one hundred days before her start in office is comprehensively assessed. But a tic is already emerging, it’s a nervous, impulsive one: Meloni can’t hide her aversion to unwelcome, critically scrutinizing media, she just has to get out.
