Gina Lückenkemper recently said it’s always difficult for her when people ask her where she actually is at home. “Planet Earth,” she then thinks, because she’s been training in Florida for three years, sometimes dropping by in her home country in the west of Germany, sometimes in Bamberg, sometimes in Berlin. For her trainer Lance Brauman, who set up the hub for his more than a dozen athletes in Florida, this makes the daily work quite challenging, on the other hand: Lückenkemper is already swarmed by enough hobby trainers in Germany, Brauman once joked that they knew exactly what what the 26-year-old has best to do.
