The previous SPD parliamentary group leader Christian Müller will become one of the most important managers of the Munich real estate market. The 56-year-old city councilor was appointed on Tuesday by the Gewofag supervisory board as one of the managing directors of the future large municipal group “Münchner Wohnen”. The municipal housing companies Gewofag and GWG are to merge under this brand on January 1, 2024. The new billion-dollar company will then own 70,000 urban apartments.
