The Germeringer police warns of wildlife accidents. In the past few days, there have been more accidents with deer, especially at dusk, especially in the area around the communities of Alling and Gilching. This caused property damage to the vehicles amounting to several thousand euros, fortunately nobody was injured.

Drivers are asked to drive with particular care and attention in the twilight hours, especially in the area of forests and fields. In the event of wildlife on or off the road, it is strongly advised not to swerve. According to the police, the driver should hold the steering wheel particularly well and reduce the speed. Because: “The worst consequences of an accident usually occur when you leave the road after an unsuccessful evasive attempt and subsequent collisions with trees,” said the Germeringer police in their press report on the danger of wildlife accidents in autumn.
